We have a big update about the future of TTFA, and something a lot of you have been asking about since the last episode, where I mentioned *casually* in the credits that we were going to be taking an indefinite hiatus. I wanted to talk more about what that means going forward, and thank all of you for listening and supporting our show.

0:37.7	filled with stories and I had a rejected book title that I wanted to use for something.

0:52.4	I wanted to use that title for something that something became this show.
0:57.2	Seven years, over 250 episodes, over 200 million downloads. Tours where I have met thousands of you, hugged,
1:10.3	thousands of you probably, apologized to everyone who came into contact with me for my BIA
1:16.4	which is honestly out of my control and is out of control.
1:21.1	This show has been the most meaningful work of my life and also the job that I've held the longest,
1:28.0	which is really not saying much because my average before this was about 18 months. 18 months and I was like I think we've
1:36.2	both gotten what we can out of this experience let's part ways. I have said numerous times that I could make an episode of this show every day for
1:47.8	a hundred years and never tell the same story twice because as universal as our human experiences are, every story is also truly, truly entirely unique.
2:00.0	And I could make an episode of this show every day for 100 years if I was a robot.
2:07.4	And sadly I am not a robot even if I treat myself like one sometimes.
2:13.1	And I do actually do that most of the time.
2:15.4	I put in minimal care, I expect maximum output.
2:21.6	And as the podcast market has changed over the past seven, eight years, so did the expectations and the output.
