bluffing that they want an negotiation and for the Biden White House just to say, well,

we're not even going to talk to you about this is not realistic because they need Republicans

in the House of Representatives to vote to raise this debt limit and if they just brush off their concerns,

we're likely going to find ourselves in a crisis.

We've heard the debt limit people, we've hit the debt limit, it's official.

We're not allowed to spend any more money until we raise the debt limit.

That's the amount of debt we're willing to take on as a country.

We've written it down, we've carved it into stone until we vote to raise it up higher again

like we've done, I don't know how many times in my lifetime.

This is money. Congress is already spent.

So I was watching MSNBC last night and so their lead panel was about the debt limit

and the awful mean Republicans and their first guests said what you just heard,

which I thought was interesting saying, look, they aren't bluffing.

President Biden really needs to realize these people are not bluffing and to just say,

I won't negotiate is not going to work.

So I thought that was pretty interesting and then I heard more or less the same thing on NPR

driving to work today.

So I don't remember that kind of talk in the past.
