This is part two in our report from one of the world's biggest food gatherings Slow foods Terramardre held last month in the city of Turin food cases food cultures from across five continents. A walk through this crowd could easily

Here, North American chefs can be found walking alongside farmers from Russia.

We want to save our traditional products, our meat, our meat, our

our animals, our tradition.

And that's our focus this week,

the fight to save the foods disappearing

from across the world.

Globally, food and farming is converging.

More of us are growing and eating the same food.

We'll be hearing from the people resisting the trend towards uniformity who are working to protect

cultures, traditions and flavours.

But before we hear why they're saving foods, let's hear an example of how it's done.
