Mary chats with Q90’s very own Terra Koslowski on human trafficking, the trading in humans by those who themselves are slaves to human lust and greed. Whereas as a culture, we lived according to the maxim of loving people and using things, the trafficking and porn industry survives by using humans and loving things. Terra has been a committed educator, advocate, and trainer in the fight against human trafficking for over 20 years. In 2010, Terra founded “Stop the Traffick: Make Some Noise,” an annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day Rally in her hometown of Oshkosh, WI, which inspired similar events in surrounding cities. She has played a key role in the establishment of Damascus Road Project, a faith-based non-profit organization located in Oshkosh, WI since it began in 2009 and currently serves as the Education and Engagement Director teaching and training the community about human trafficking awareness and how to get involved. She also shares the morning show mic with Crash from 6-9am Monday – Friday.
