Yes, sir, NFL season, sir, reporting for duties, sir.

NFL season starts today.

You spent 15 years as a scout and direct of scouting in the NFL,

and you're responsible.

You would never touch your own horn,

but you're responsible in a lot of those long, lonely trips that you drove and flew all over the country

to find, scour the countryside, to find talent.

And a lot of it, like you used to tell me,

is found like Diamonds in the Ruff,

found in the small schools.

The big schools, everybody knows.

Alabama, Georgia, you know, everybody's after those guys.

But to find the real value guys, you go to those offshoot colleges that has talent,

but you have to find it, and you have to know what you're looking at and what you're looking

for. And I remember you finding some of that talent.

And I know there's a lot of guys in the NFL now that you found

that were drafted low, and they're starting in the NFL now,

that you found in all different places, you know, walk-ons, free agents.

I mean, just, I was always proud of you the way that you were able to, just to scout

and to recognize talent.

And not only that, but your, just your work ethic to go and to the places where, quite frankly, a lot of scots didn't even want to bother
