Another champ coming on the week after the big win on Sunday. All right, so we're going to hour number two. Quick reminder with professional great products for every industry. Granger has you covered. Do you want to call it clickgranger.com or just stop on by? We are efforting Rick Barnes. Rick Barnes could come any second or next segment. I don't really know. I'm efforting him. I'm ready either way.

0:54.9

In the meantime, 1-800-636-86. As I'm efforting him, why don't we go to the phones? My man, my dude in Albuquerque, Mike in the ABQ. Mike, my brother. What's good? Devil in the box. What is up? What's up, dude? How are you doing? I'm doing well, man. I'm doing great. Thank you for asking. I hope you're doing well as well. Hey, listen, man, I caught the Brian Slagel podcast you just dropped yesterday. Fantastic, man. I don't know what to say. That was really, really killer stuff. Brian Slegel, man,

0:59.5

he does not get enough credit for what he's done in the world of metal. So everything from armored saint to bloodlust, to Savage Grace, to Gwar, cattle decapitation, you name it, Slayer.

You touched and uncovered a lot of bases. I first met him in 87. I was a kid in high school, and I was writing a zine, and so I met him actually in Phoenix at a place called Rockers, and Flotsam and Jetson was playing there with Predator and Bloodlust, all Metal Blade bands, and I first met Jason Neustid. And I remember first meeting him, and he just came up real, quiet, had a box of t-shirts, asked if I wanted one. And he gave me a U.S. power metal shirt of Flottsman Jetsam really cool. But I've always loved your metal connection to the clones. It was a metal head who got me into the jungle, and you know me, I'm a metal head. So I've always loved that, and you've always been really, really cool like that. So the rock and roll spirit and heavy metal spirits flying high. And even though I'm not on the sports animal, I'm on our mother ship, KKOB, a station in the cluster, and I work as a producer in the afternoon show. And like I said, it's like the jungle karma, man. It's really high with rock and roll and metal.

and Heaven and Hell. So thank you for that podcast, man. Another partner in crime with Metal Blade that needs to be put out there is Bill Me Toyer, the producer, man. That guy's produced almost everything Metal Blade has ever had, death records, all that cool stuff. So once again, thanks, man. You got a mic. Let me jump up in there.

2:34.9

They're 7 and 4 in conference play, and they host LSU tomorrow. Of course, I'm talking about Rick Barnes. Rick, always great to have you on the show, my friend. How you doing, Rick? I'm doing good when you said advanced. I thought you were going to say he's advanced in age. Well, we are that. We can't really deny that, you and me both. But I'll get out later on. Now, listen, you, the team's playing great again. How about a quick state of the union? How do you feel about the group personally, Rick? And how are they playing at this stage of the season with March Madness right around the corner? Yeah, that's a great question. We talked about that today before we went out on the court because we just got through
