West Rucker, Ben McKee, and Ryan Callahan coming to you from Nissan Stadium

here in Nashville, where the Tennessee Volunteers,

the 12th-ranked balls have opened their football season

with a 49 to 13 win over Virginia.

Just a quick note on the front end we are outside here we're in a booth but there's

there's outside win conditions so in case you hear any janitorial work outside that is

that's the stadium crew and Patrick Brown out there doing some of the cleaning work

because Patrick is ducking this podcast and he'll be with us on Monday even though we're all here.

Nonetheless, fellas, Tennessee has opened the season.

Not what you would say perfectly by any stretch of the imagination, but I think solidly.

I think on balance more good than bad. Maybe we'll talk about some of the good stuff on the front and then we'll get to some of the cleanup stuff here in the second segment

But before we do that just overall quick thoughts on the game for me guys I guess I'll start with Ryan it looked like a pretty classic opener

You know that there were some things that were sloppy that you would expect.

But when you look at some other openers across the country,

it's cleaner than some others have been,

but still some stuff to fix, but more good than bad, maybe.

Yeah, I think that's a fair way to put it and as with a lot of these openers when you're playing a team
