Summary

The Tennessee Titans desperately need to add wide receiver talent in the offseason, but that doesn't mean they need to lose talent as well by cutting Calvin Ridley. Ridley is certainly not worth the $26 million he will cost in 2026, but the Titans have plenty of cap space and there aren't going to be a lot of good options available. Ridley is still a GOOD player when healthy and should be a part of the receiver room unless something drastically better becomes available. However, players like L'Jarius Sneed and Tony Pollard should be gone. There are quite a few in-house free agents for the Titans as well whose situations need to be resolved before free agency like Chig Okonkwo and Kevin Zeitler, but the Titans should let both of them walk while working to retain key depth pieces like Sebastian Joseph-Day and backup offensive linemen. Finally, the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl with a dominant defensive performance and two things should bring Titans fans hope. Cam Ward COOKED Seattle when they played this year and Mike MacDonald was the first defensive play caller to win as a head coach, giving hope for Robert Saleh to do so.
