Summary

The Tennessee Titans took big swings in the first round of the NFL Draft, taking Carnell Tate ahead of some of the top defensive players and trading up to take the uncertain Keldric Faulk, but with big swings comes big risk and that is the only way to grade the Titans first day. Tate's upside may be capped and Faulk's potential is not a guarantee, so the Titans can only receive a B- for their effort. The draft has only just begun though and the Titans still have plenty of picks remaining to snag potential starters. While they are limited in picks over the next 100 selections, they have enough ammo to move around and play the board.
