Here is a case out of Tennessee.

Now, one of the things that's going on with the religious right,

and I would even say, no, just the religious right, not fundamentalist.

That's a whole different kettle of cord or corn of kettle.

Is the, what's going on in libraries.

And what's going on in terms of not only religious tracks that are being put in libraries, but also

LGBT issues. And here's what happened. There's a Tennessee Library Board fired the county's

top librarian because the librarian refused to comply with the library board's vote to move 100 LGBTQ books away from the children's section to the adult section over the claims that they promote a gender confusion.

And the board voted eight to three that the system director Luann James would

refuse to move those books and so therefore the firing took place and I here are a couple

of issues that I want to throw at you. First of all, what do you do?

I don't know this list of books, but I'm sure there are plenty of LGBTQ books that have been written specifically for kids.

I mean, that's just what you do with children's books, especially in this day and age, recognizing that there are people out there that are not straight. I'm not talking

about value judgment. I'm not talking about it's a good thing, it's a bad thing. It's just

recognizing that there are people. And what the board is saying is that those books promote
