Hey, what's going on? This is the Saturday on South podcast. I am Conor Mkara. Well, it finally happened.

For the first time since you were in sixth grade, I was a junior in high school. I believe that's what we were talking about before we came on air.

Tennessee takes down Alabama with a wild, wild day. It was the Stavall Celebrate Victory against the tide for the first time since 2006.

That game ended, uh, what, like 15 hours ago recording this hit at 10 a.m. Sunday morning. And I think I am still buzzing from that game.

I mean, just an instant classic. And even if it was a game, I would still argue it's an instant classic. But because of the scene that ensued, man, that was one of those pinch yourself college football moments that we'll be talking about for a long, long time.

Conor, if you look outside right now, from Orlando, you can see the goalposts start to travel down I four. It's amazing. It's like the Oscar Meyer Weiner truck, you know.

If you see it, well, you're going to see it at some point. It's going to be making a tour around the US. I think they what they dumped it in the Tennessee River.

Just throw that sucker up. I mean, the scenes out of out of Knoxville were bananas. I mean, second to none. And that's what makes this sport so great.

Even if you were, I had people texted me who hate Tennessee with a fiery passion. And they're watching that yesterday just going this, this sport, you just, you can't, you just, you can't match that.

You just absolutely cannot the fact that you can just get that on a given Saturday. And for all the talking, we're getting into a lot of the stuff about the game itself and all the games in the SEC because it was a great, great Saturday football.

For all the things that we talk about, like, I don't think that game and a 12 team playoff is suddenly diminished. I think you see the magnitude of that. And what that means to Tennessee to finally get over that hump and to finally beat a team like Alabama. And it didn't matter that it wasn't for an SEC championship. And a lot of things can happen.

Just like having that day, I think Tennessee fans just, but by the images that we saw, just wanted to live in that moment forever. And I can say that I blame them. Incredible, just unbelievable.

Yeah, there was a scene of like, kind of like the final score graphic with like the stadium, kind of like the whole stands were just on the field. And you just heard Dixie Lane the light playing.

Oh my gosh, what if it was just a perfect scene? It's like, you know, I wonder if that song is now going to change owner.

It might, it might. Yeah. The Josh Hype will post game interview afterwards where he gets handed the box of cigars. And I mean, I, you know, not being there. I didn't see just how smokey Neelan was.

I can only imagine though. Like, could you imagine how many over under six cigars that were actually confiscated at the gate?

Oh, yeah. Oh, no, I'm sure it's funny because it's one of those things that's like, oh, yeah, I'm sure the way it's like, oh, yeah, whatever, that's for the cops. Like, buddy, if you'll got him in smoke, if you still got him, yeah, literally smoke me.

Unless you had it in your mouth going into the stadium, which, you know, I mean, it looked like a pretty liquid up place, unless you literally had it in your mouth, that's the guy was getting into that stadium.

And it was going to be smoked at some point, just unbelievable day.
