But Jones was in for four years now Jeremy Pruitt has been in for three years and

Tennessee just officially announced in the last half hour that they have fired

Jeremy Pruitt for cause along with nine additional coaches in the

Football program. What does that mean?

Four cause means that Tennessee does not have to pay Jeremy Pruitt or any of those coaches anything

They are not firing him for losing a lot of football games

They are firing him for violating NCAA rules failing to have an atmosphere of compliance and also

according to the chancellor

Potentially covering up or attempting to cover up their transgressions in the midst of an internal investigation

The University of Tennessee just said a half hour ago. They were notified on November 13th of

Many different proposed imperpriities under NCAA rules

They began an official investigation with outside cancel on November 19th

And they are announcing today after reviewing the findings of that internal investigation in consultation with the NCAA

The Jeremy Pruitt is being fired and that they will owe him no more money and that those nine additional coaches and employees are also being fired

And they will be owed nothing as well
