I am Ben McKee, your host here on the podcast,

and we are no longer joined by the great Connor Pavlone

because the former Tennessee catcher has reported to spring training.

So we have to make a permanent call to the bullpen and bring in the one and only

Wes Rucker who will be joining me on the podcast this year.

I do appreciate Pav joining me on the first one we did this season to preview this team.

I thought he was absolutely excellent in breaking down kind of what to expect from a couple of

different guys and again he's been around the guys all off season long training so I didn't

think there was anybody better to to give some insight into this year's

team but Wes and I are going to pick it up from here because it's not only basketball time in

Tennessee but it is now baseball time in Tennessee, West

Rucker. Yeah, I'll tell you this though Ben, you had an actual high quality

college catcher turnedtour,

so instead you're going from that to

very mediocre could have been a walk-on college first baseman in catcher

who probably would have with a bad back, who was only going to be on the team

basically to boost the GPA but decided to go into sports riding so I could go to a

bigger school instead so that's a hell of a downgrade but that's the one that y'all have gotten.

So sorry.

That's okay because I'm a washed up high school pitcher in third baseman slash utility player who could really play any position.
