This is Bird Note.

I'm Tanaijie Hamilton.

So since I started birding at the start of the pandemic,

I've learned a lot.

My mom will always remind me how much of an indoor kid I was,

and I wanted to show her how much I've grown.

So I took her to this park I'd heard good things about.

And there's more ground birds hopping around in my house

than you see here.

Nothing, not a zilch.

They need to give us some love and come closer.

At first, I was feeling kind of defeated.

I wanted to show off to my mom, and this was most definitely not that.

But as we continue to explore the park,

it felt like nature was reminding me of lesson number one.

Birding is supposed to be fun.

Oh, you take such a deep breath.

I'll hear what the green is.

The inner feels fresh going down.

Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

And as I began to take this to heart,

we had a little change in our love.
