What I could do better because I mean this we've been married 17 years and my wife really is I believe the best wife in the world for me.

I know I could not be married to anybody else. I furthermore know that I couldn't be married to her unless she lay down the law unless she occasionally said what is happening here right now is the direct violation of Vanessa code 3.73.

And I'm like, I don't know what the code is but and so I over time probably like the first two weeks we were married. I went I said, Vanessa, I'll be home at like three o'clock. This is on a Saturday.

I said, I'll be I'm sorry, I remember this very specifically. I said, I'll be home at like 10 o'clock. This is on a Saturday morning and we've been married like two weeks.

So I go to all American fitness and there's a guy who's a doctor, he's a chiropractor and this guy is jacked his body's covered with tattoos.

And I was getting in great shape physically and he's jacked and so I'm just doing one more set, one more set, another set.

We're going back and forth. Bro, can you spot me bro? Bro, can you spot me bro? We're going back and forth and I'm just getting jacked.

The vascularity, the striations, the fitness, the protein. How much can you bench, bro? The conversation could not end. It was a very heterosexual trending homosexual conversation because I was like, dude, how much can you bench? How much can you bench, bro?

He's a doctor. I'm not. He's got tattoos. He's jacked. I'm jacked. We're having a conversation. We're connecting about again. How much can you bench? How much can you bench? And how much can you bench? It's getting deep.

Protein bars. How much can you bench? And so I came home. I said, I'll be home like 11. Well, like 1 o'clock I come home and she's like, where have you been? I'm like, I've been all American.

The time that really got me was the one that you came home at like 11 at night or something. You've been DJing something. I didn't know and I literally thought you were dead. I'm crying.

Well, the first time that I'm not getting this is our first two weeks of marriage. I came home like an hour and a half late after working out. And Vanessa, let me know.

Not cool home skillet. Not cool. And so over time, it's been 17 years. I've been learning these lessons. She's really taught me how to address and resolve conflict.

So today's entire show is about tending to your relationship garden. And whether you're planting a garden or starting a relationship or growing a business, weeds are going to spring up on a weekly if not daily basis. What you want to do is

pull the weeds and move on. You don't want to make a big deal about it. You don't spend your whole day lamenting about the weeds that pop up. You just pull not a lot of top gardeners are out there. You don't see a lot of top gardeners.

Oh my god, there's a weed. I was there a weed. Well, you should probably pull it. No. And they just would lament about it till the weed overtakes the garden. No, they just pull the garden and tending to your relationship garden is what today's entire show is about.
