As coronavirus claims all manner of economic casualties,

we're asking where the buck stops with rents and mortgage payments.

If the renters don't have money, they don't have it.

But that's just moving it one step further down the economic chain

where the landlords then can't pay the mortgages.

And if the landlords can't pay the mortgages, the banks can foreclose,

the tenants will be evicted anyway.

It has been a tough time for tenants in many countries these days.

It was great. I was shocked, first of all, because I feel like most landlords aren't doing this.

And unfortunately, a lot of people, including myself, have had not the best experiences

with landlords being super understanding.

So I was just kind of like taken aback for a second.

But I was like, I'm glad she recognizes the financial consequences of this pandemic right now.

So for us to have that money back in our pocket was like really nice.
