You've got to have patience and see the long game, long game, you know.

I look at brands I love and I aspire to be like and admire brands like Patagonia, for example, right?

And, you know, out of the gate, Yvonne Chonar was building Patagonia because he loved the space.

He loved the products. he loved the products,

he loved what he was doing. It took a long view, right? It wasn't about, I'm going to raise

X dollars now and sell in five years to this other company, whatever. It was no, it was like,

I'm the bills that's meaningful over a long period of time. And I think for me, you know, again,

I came from entrepreneurship and venture capital and was like my first thought was raise capital, grow fast, sell the company, right?

Traditional like, you know, approach to it all.

But I really learned, I think, to take a more patient view.

And I think by taking a detached patient view, you open up ideas.

You open up why, a reason is for being in a why, like I mentioned, that is differentiated,

is more yours and more germane to your brain and who you are as a person, frankly.

And if you take that approach, hopefully, a knock on wood, that plays out over the long haul because that's kind of, you know,

where a lot of brand and people can't get to, they can't take that step of going the distance

and really investing deeply. They want to keep a transactional. I think if you can make that move,

make that jump, you've got something special.
