All right, guys. So this week for 10 minute Tuesday, as we've been sitting here talking with our

0:04.1

buddy Derek, we've just tried to think about different things. That would be a good topic.

0:08.4

And we kind of got stuck on something that just made sense to do. And so we're just going to

0:12.5

kind of talk about a little bit about life, but also about like Derek, what's made you successful

0:17.8

so far as a young entrepreneur, in a sense, as a young creator, you know, and like what's made you successful so far as a young entrepreneur, in a sense, as a young creator,

0:23.5

you know, and like what's gotten you to where you are right now?

0:26.5

Don't think it's anything besides saying yes to people. And when you say yes, you deliver.

0:33.5

I think it's just something that makes the difference is saying yes, being available and going when you think maybe it's not the best idea or maybe I shouldn't go or maybe I'm not good enough to do this or maybe I'm not talented enough to do this.

0:46.9

Saying yes and going and betting on yourself and delivering is better than giving up on yourself before you start.

0:52.6

And I know that I'm not the best

0:54.5

0:59.4

but I'll still say my best ideas if I can. I'll still try and make a good photo. I'll still try and

1:04.8

make a good video. So I think it's a lot of like, you have to believe in yourself because no one

1:09.1

else will. So you first and foremost, you have to believe in yourself and you have to believe like what you're doing.

1:13.9

And I tell people this like, I started pitching small outfitters in South Dakota in the Midwest that had had 20 plus years of fully booked clients, the same returning clients.

1:29.4

Why did they need to spend $1,000, $2,000, any amount of money that they've never had to spend in their last 20 years to be

1:35.2

this booked? Why did they have to do that now? Yeah. So I had to ask myself that question. I had to think,

1:40.0

how can I make my time worth it for the person who doesn't need me? And if you can sell to the person

1:45.1

who doesn't need you, you can sell to anybody who does need you. So selling to the people who don't

1:49.1

need you, selling to an outfitter who says, I already am fully booked. I don't need you.

1:53.7

Well, yeah, you're fully booked now. But those clients that you've had for the last 20 years,

1:57.4

their sons, their daughters are watching their fathers and their mothers go on these
