There was a double header of London Derbies on Saturday night football this week

as West Ham played Spurs before Brentford took on Chelsea.

Here's how the evening unfolded.

Tottenham back on track. West Ham back in the doldrums.

Thomas Frank becomes the first Spurs manager to lead them to victory here since Jose

Marino in his first game in charge.

A really impressive, particularly second half performance. It was then that

Pat Matasar made the breakthrough with a header almost inevitably from a corner. West Ham's

problems were added to with a sending off of Thomas Socheck before Lucas Bergval made it two

for Tottenham with a header.

And just after that, another goal for Mickey Van de Ven,

his second of the season, his first in this competition,

in this campaign, sweeping it home to tighten their grip

on a game that was long since lost by the home team.
