And at Storytellers Live, our prayer is that you would meet God in a new way through these stories,

that you would know that you're not alone and that

walls would be broken down and community would be built. Today's story is Amy. Well, Amy comes to us from

our community group in Auburn, Alabama, and I'm just going to tell you, are you ready to get

close to Jesus this Easter week? Because Amy's story talks so much about God being trustworthy,

that he is faithful, and that most importantly, our joy is found in Jesus and not our

circumstances. So we titled this one, Tell Them Who I Am, and I think you're going to see why

pretty soon into her story. And one thing I think that you'll really get out of Amy's story is how she talks about God

as her father and how she really trusts him and really means it.

And here's Amy.

I grew up in Alexander City, Alabama.

I am the oldest of three girls.

And when I was growing up, my sisters and I used to sit and dream about what life would be like when we were grown.

And we spent lots of time just talking, playing baby dolls, playing house,

and just dreaming about our future. And I was probably the biggest daydreamer of us all.

I love to sit and just dream about that tall, handsome man I was going to marry. And I would dream

about all the kids that I would have,

all the boys, all the girls, what their names were going to be. I would dream about the house

that I would live in and the car that I would drive and all the fabulous clothes I would wear.
