oh, friend, you have figured out how to live. When did we get into this thing where you had to

stand up to listen to a podcast?

Who started that?

And how come no one's doing it but me?

I've compared notes with a lot of friends in this new, what I'm assuming is a new trend.

Of lying down to listen to things.

Look, it's different.

When I was a kid, here's what you did.

You stood up at school every morning to say the Pledge of Allegiance.

You remained standing to listen to anything that was said.

You got home, you were exhausted.

Everyone had varicose vein problems by the time we got to sixth grade.

You should have seen our legs.

And you could because we all had to wear little short shorts.

We were wearing sailor suits, all of us.

I was homeschooled, and a bunch of kids from the neighborhood was just wandering.

Because we only had classes on Saturdays and Sundays.

My parents were very busy.

They had a beer can collection.

And so Monday through Friday, they were out there looking for rare cans. Now here's the thing.
