When you're anxious, it can seem impossible to hold on to the promises of God.

I probably don't have to tell you that depression and anxiety are running rampant in our society today,

and increasingly so, alarmingly so, among young people.

I've witnessed this firsthand with a number of young women that I'm close to.

But these issues are not new.

They date back to the very first family, as we heard yesterday, when God asked Kane why his countenance, his face, had fallen.
