Summary
18-year-old Romanch Mahajan was celebrating his high school graduation with his parents and younger brother with a once in a lifetime trip to NYC. The family decided to take a relaxing ride through Central Park in one of its iconic horse drawn carriages. When the driver stepped away to snap a family photo of the group, the horse bolted and accelerated, throwing Romanch to his death. Now there are renewed and urgent calls to end the decades long tradition in New York, and demands for a full investigation into the tragedy.
