Summary

After being yanked out of class and arrested on their high school campus, 15 year old Isabelle Valdez and 14 year old Lois Lippert are thrown into the back of a cop car. For 30 minutes the girls are caught on the car’s dash cam giggling and completely unbothered. At one point, Isabelle looks at her best friend, “Oh you trying to look good for your mugshot?” Lois excitedly responds, “Oh shit, am I going to get a mugshot?...This is such a bonding experience, I love it.” The girls are basically acting like they’re going to be able to go home at the end of their “side quest.” After all, the police arrested them before they could even carry out their plan to murder a classmate, right? Isabelle even comments that their plan was, “not a school shooting at least.” Lois agrees saying, “we’d be in prison for life.” It’s true, the girls weren’t planning a school shooting. Instead, they were planning to stab and murder a classmate in a ritual they thought would resurrect an infamous elementary school mass killer back from the dead. There's usually a few places that require automatic introspection.

Like if you are a completely able-bodied person, you use the accessible bathroom stall

and you walk out and you see that you clearly did not need to use that stall.

You could have just waited for a different one and someone else was waiting for that one. If you ever do that, I mean, don't do that. But if you do, that is a

moment that would require deep self-reflection as you awkwardly wash your hands in shame. It's almost

automatic, I would hope. Another one of those places is sitting in the back of a police car

with your hands behind your back.

Clearly, you're not getting a free ride.

This is far less comfortable than the worst Uber ride that you've ever been on.

And Isabel, she looks freaking uncomfortable.

Isabel is sitting there and she's sitting up with her.

Her back is straight up against the back seat of this police car. She's not even sitting up straight because she wants to be on her best behavior, which would be smart. But Isabel, you're going to soon find out. She's not that smart. But because her wrists are handcuffed behind her back, she can't even slouch if she wants to. She's wearing this white t-shirt. She's got very curly hair.

And she almost has this very young baby face. And she looks bored. She's sitting on the left side

of the back of the cop car. The back door to the right side opens. And she just casually looks over.

She's not on high alert. She's not anxious.

She's not looking around fantically.

And she just leans her head to the side.

Excuse me?

Are we going to the same one?

We don't really see him, but you can assume it's a police officer.
