What kind of spooky time are you having on a Friday? I got my weekend water.

O.C. Welcome to the show if you've never listened to this before. I don't know how you got here,

but my name is Paul F. Tompkins. My name is Janie Haddad Tompkins. She is an actor. He is a comedian.

We are a married couple living in Los Angeles and this is our after dinner podcast.

We just chat. We just have like a little date night chat over weekend water.

We come out every, the second Friday of every month. We used to do it once a week, but

you know, those lockdown days are not happening anymore. Let's hope that's true. Yeah. Let me say

Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th. I don't know if you're superstitious or not. We never talk about

superstition. Well, it's funny because you and I both grew up in Catholicism. Yes, which is

that's all superstition. Yeah. And so like we're both, I guess you would say fallen

Catholics. Is that what you call it? Lapsed Catholics. Is a lapsed Catholic? Fallen is too

dramatic, I think. Oh, okay. It's like Lucifer. Oh, it is. Lucifer, how are they? How are they'll

fallen? He was an angel, but not no more Catholicism is a ride. Let me tell you. It's a ride.

What do you think about? Yeah, it's a long ride. It levels out for a long time in the middle.

I think because of this, I am not really superstitious. You know what I'm saying?

Not about that, but maybe that's why I'm not really super my one superstition. Oh, you know what,

though, I'm not superstitious until somebody else has a superstition. Like, like, oh, I don't like

to step on the crack because of my brain, my mother's, but my one big superstition. Yeah.

Aside from like sports superstitions, which are just feelings, like, you know,

wear the same hat every day. Well, you know, last time they won, I was wearing this hat, wear

this hat again, you know, whatever. The only superstition I have that really affects my life.
