My son would not do it.

I go to Delaware every summer.

And he was like, so there's always a pool nearby. And he'll go to the beach, but he saw those waves the first couple of years. He's like, I'm not doing it. He actually told me, this is a quote. Because I said, man, I'm going to pick you up and throw he in there. He goes, dad, if you pick me up, we're throwing hands. This kid's like 11 years old. We're throwing hands.

He's like, seriously, I don't want to get in.

So, like, I'm... thrown hands. This kid's like 11 years old. We're throwing hands, man.

He's like, seriously, I don't want to get in. So, like, he would stand at the very edge, right? But once you go out, what, maybe? Four feet, that's where the waves get kind of crazy. And I'm like, man, just do it. It's fun when you get used to. He just would not do it. So he wants to stay at the beach all day with his cousins.

I finally roll back to the house.

About three hours later, they get back. He was so jacked. He's like, I finally got in. He's like, it is awesome. I told there's just a place to stay. Don't let the wave crash on you. You just got to get past that break. You've got to get past the bray and then it lifts everyone every

once in a while you're going to get schooled right but overall now you couldn't get his ass out of the

water and you're right as it right you know it's coming like your dog and he's got no idea he's looking

at me and you just see this way you come up behind him and i'm like this is going to end poorly dude

and i mean it like basically broke on him and to me it was very funny I just felt bad for the dog because he finally worked up the courage to do this thing and you can just see the pride in his eyes and I see that wave coming up and I'm like god damn it really right now okay so I worked uh I worked at that beach for a summer, which is three months. You know,

you get a couple jobs. You work with your buddies. That's a great job, though. You have a good time. But this chick who I kind of knew that I worked with for a while on a place called Bull on the Beach, which actually had some pretty good pit beef. She also did parasailing. All right. All right. So she worked on a parasailing boat. She said, hey, do you want to go? It's a light afternoon.

There's not like two or three clients, hey, do you want to go?

And I was like, man, hell yeah, I'd love to do that.

So parasailing is when they put you in the water and you got a parachute basically. Yeah. they're pulling you on a motorboat and they pull you up into the air and you're you're pretty far up there you're i don't know hundred yards maybe even more sure you're up in the air on this on this

big tethered line. And they take you up the coast. They take you away from the beach, obviously, but you're close enough to the beach. You can see everyone swimming. You can see everybody in water. At that point in time, I had been in that ocean probably every single day since I'd

worked there. I'd been there my entire life going for a week in the summer as a kid. Now I'm

up in this thing and I'm looking down and there are sharks everywhere. Oh yeah. What I'm saying
