Summary

Ted Peters teaches systematic theology at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. He also co-edits the journal, Theology and Science, at the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences. He has written a book titled,UFOs— GOD’s Chariots? Flying Saucers in Politics. Science, and Religion, and developed the ETI Religious Crisis Survey in which he examined how people would react to the news of extraterrestrials visiting earth. His findings are very interesting. He also recently served as a consultant to NASA and SETI on the ethics of planetary protection.

0:44.6	now that blow dryer that's blowing the heat in your face is carrying a lot of dust and one of
0:50.6	the things that they said is in this dust is a lot of bug parts.
1:02.0	There's lots of bugs in the forest, so we're breathing in these parts of scorpions and beetles and grasshoppers.
1:05.0	I think there's a lot of bug parts and most everything in life.
1:06.5	Yeah, I think you're right. They always do those reports during Valentine's Day about how many bug parts there are in chocolate.
1:10.6	Oh, really?
1:11.4	That's scary.
1:12.3	Lots of bugs all over the place.
1:14.6	But not on the radio.
