Who we got here?

We got Ted Nugent, the Motor City of Madman shows up up. He's kind of a quiet, kind of a guy. Mostly quiet guy. Hard to get him to come out of his show. I'm kind of a gentle soul, Tom. You know that. What's you been doing, partner? You know, I'm ballistically coefficient, and this is the, I wish I could tell you what the shot show really stood for a basically hellraising, outrageous TED show. And I am having the time of my life with my... These are my people. You know, you have mellowed as you've gotten older. Yeah, only because I'm tired. No, actually, I'm 77 now. I'm having the greatest hunting season of my life. Unbelievable. You know, you know what it is, we get to figure out what's important after a while. Oh, I figured out a long time ago. Yeah, you did. You did. Yeah, I mean, you're doing it right. So, all right, so what you've been shooting? What you've been hunting? Well, you know, I started when I was born. I was in deer camp at 10 months of age. I beat you. I beat you. I started when I, before I was born. That's because Gritz was your dad.

My mom shot a deer when she was eight months pregnant with me. How is that? How about that? That's imprinting. That's pre-birth imprinting. But anyhow, I celebrate it. And when I'm touring back with the Amboy Dukes in the 60s, graduated from high school in 67, the Amboy Dukes were already doing 200 gigs a year. Right. And then we did over 300 gigs a year. So I'd only get a day here and a day there. And you talk about prioritizing and finding out what's important. Well, the music is important. I love the music. Right. It inspires me. It's. I'm having the best conscience of my life. New Year's Eve was unbelievable. But anyhow, I discovered that I need to have opening day off, just opening day. So I said, no, we can't book a gig on November 15th. I'm going to be in the Manistee National Forest. Then I realized, no, opening day is not good enough. I need a day before to scout, and I need the next day to hang the buck. So eventually it turned into, I need October, November, and

December off. And the people are going, you can't take three months off. They would tell me that.

They go, you can hunt later. I go, no, there's only one opening day in 1975. You don't understand. That's right. So I'm lucky, and that's why I have effervescent masculinity, because I've prioritized, and I'm

celebrating 37 years' marriage with Shemaine today.

Congrats.

That's great.

But she stayed home with the dogs, more proof that she's the greatest wife in the world.
