Summary

As promised, here is Ted Kaczynski's manifesto. It is quite lengthy and is hard to follow in some areas, but in my opinion, he DOES bring forth some uncomfortable philosophical ideas that I think people should at least contemplate. But we must not forget that he murdered people. The opinions in this recording were Ted's alone and do not represent myself or my philosophies. He wrote this in 1995, not knowing how the world was vastly approaching cellphones and social media either. Elissa Kerrill Serial Killing : A Podcast P.O. I also want to say that the opinions that are expressed in this manifesto are Ted's and Ted's alone.

I see some logic in what he says and some not so logical things in what he said so I wanted to preface that as well.

So with that let's get started.

third world to physical suffering as well and have inflicted severe damage on the natural world.

1:35.0

The continued development of technology will worsen the situation.

1:40.0

It will certainly subject human beings to greater indignities and inflict greater damage on the natural world.

1:48.0

It will probably lead to greater social disruption and psychological suffering,

1:53.3

and it may lead to increased physical suffering

1:56.4

even in advanced countries.

2:00.6

The industrial technological system may survive or it may break down.

2:05.0

If it survives, it may eventually achieve a low level of

2:10.0

physical and psychological suffering, but only after passing through a long and very painful

2:17.1

period of adjustment and only at the cost of permanently reducing human beings and many other living organisms to engineered products and mere cogs in the social machine.

2:30.0

Furthermore, if the system survives, the consequences will be inevitable.
