But Ted Cruz as Republican Savior is rather ironic. As

an arch-conservative Tea Party intellectual he's gained a reputation as the most hated man in Washington

and ruffled almost as many Republican feathers as the Donald.

His tactics as a senator have left him with very few friends and indeed I don't believe any

members of the United States Senate have endorsed him which is really quite a telling thing.

But some believe Cruz could prize the nomination away from Trump, even go all the way

to the White House.
