We're going to lay hands on Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz is a deeply religious man. This is him being blessed before primary by

a pastor imploring God to help the 45-year-old senator make America great again.

And I pray Lord Jesus that you take the hands of this man and put the mantle up on him.

He might lead our land back to where we were.

But this week with more states declaring for Republican presidential

frontrunner Donald Trump and the Florida Senator Marco Rubio pulling out of the

race, it's the mainstream Republican party that's praying, praying for someone, anyone who can out Trump,

and that's increasingly looking like the Southern Baptist and Junior Senator for Texas,

Ted Cruz.

God's blessing has been on America. Senator for Texas, Ted Cruz.

God's blessing has been on America from the very beginning of this nation.

And I believe God isn't done with America yet.

But Ted Cruz as Republican Savior is rather ironic. As

an arch-conservative Tea Party intellectual he's gained a reputation as the most hated man in Washington

and ruffled almost as many Republican feathers as the Donald.

His tactics as a senator have left him with very few friends and indeed I don't believe any

members of the United States Senate have endorsed him which is really quite a telling thing.

But some believe Cruz could prize the nomination away from Trump, even go all the way

to the White House.
