On the day these scenes were filmed, someone calling himself Ted asked several young women

individually to help blow to canoe on his car.

The poor that we know of said no and walked away.

Two others disappeared from the beach.

Months later, police found their remains along with those of several other young women.

The Ted witnesses describe was shown in posters, but in the beginning, Bundy was not a suspect.

He says police were looking for a criminal type, not a clean, cut, lost student like

himself.

They get hundreds, about hundreds of leads.
