Today we are talking about some new safety ratings on the Tesla Model 3.

That might sound a little bit boring, but it's what I've spent my night looking at,

so it's what we're going to talk about today.

I think it's interesting, hopefully you guys will too.

Tesla stock on the day today another strong day finishing up 2.75% to $242.26 this compared to the NASDAQ down 0.24%.

Okay, so on the safety ratings over the last week or so, the model 3 has received safety

ratings from both the European New Car Assessment Program and the Australia New Zealand New

Car Assessment Program and has received five-star ratings from both. While the tests

are similar and the scores were similar for the Euro end cap and the Australia

New Zealand end cap.

They are still two separate assessments so good to see the model three performing well.

In both of them though not surprising.

At first I kind of even brushed off the news because it was so expected.

We know that the model three is one of the safest cars, if not the safest car out there.

So honestly anything other than a five-star rating would be kind of shocking.

But then I came across the detailed safety report and I found that to be much more interesting

due to breakdowns by category and then much more specificity for the scoring rather than just a

one to five star scale.
