more or less, kind of understood the basic Christian idea

of like, well, you have to bury your cross in life.

And oftentimes that means relying on God

to make it through the day because the tensions

and the pressures of life are unbearable to mortal men.

That used to be kind of a baseline and secularization

or whatever you want to call it,

jumping from one from one ancient and veneral religion

to something that was invented eight months ago

to cope with what's happening, you know,

that's not gonna provide people with the backstop

that they need in order to maintain their composure.
