And by not having a voice. And it's tech fan number six, and I'm your host, even though I don't sound like him, Tim Robertson.

And if you can't tell, I sound a little different.

If you can't tell, then there's something wrong with your ears, because I sound terrible.

And I got a cold, and I lost my voice, literally lost it, couldn't find it for two days.

And the funny thing is, I could talk at, you know, very low volume, but if I try to get loud at all, it completely went away.

It's pretty weird.

So as promised last week, we've got Bill Palmer.

You know, of all the days, I was going to bust out my Tim Robertson impression, but now nobody's

going to know whether it really sounds like you. So we'll save that for next time. Oh, man. It's,

you've lost your voice before in the past. Yeah, yeah. You know, I actually have a little bit of a lifelong throat problem.

So if I do, say, too many interviews in a row, I'll lose my voice for a good day or two.

Fortunately, because I don't podcast, I write, you know, nobody knows just how bad I sound on some of these interviews I do, except the person I've interviewed.

You know, I don't have to put myself out there like you do when my voice is failing.

Yeah, and you can leave out of the interview when they kept saying, hey, are you all right?

Well, that's great about the mute button, you know, you can clear your throat 20 times in a 20-minute conversation, and they don't know. I'll be turning down my volume quite a bit today to clear my throat.

It's, uh, I, you know, I guess it's just an everyday cold, and, uh, I wasn't coughing a whole lot,

and this, all of a sudden, my voice just went, gone. I don't know. That's mine. I mean, it's, it's there, and I, I kind of know I'm talking too much, but then it's still

there, and then all of a sudden it just goes off a cliff, you know?
