So this is TechFan 35. Anybody who was listening last week will probably recall that Tim is busy earning across this week.

So I decided to invite somebody along to the show and have a chat with somebody a little bit different,

Now, Darren, I've been a follower of your website for a very, very long time because I've

long been a fan of GPS.

But why don't you tell us a little bit about Pocket GPS world and what you do over there?

Yeah, sure.

Pocket GPS, where do we start?

Start out as a gang of geeks back in the early days of GPS, going back to, I'd say,

turning the century now, late 1999, when GPS was an expensive and quite a rare tool gadget.

A few of us invested in some high-end hobby GPS units.

And we were talking on the Yahoo News Group.

And shortly after we got together and were back in ideas,

the first sort of consumer-grade pocket PC GPS solution was released.

And so we all jumped in and bought a unit.

And from there, the website grew.
