Hey, everyone. Tim Robertson here. It is time for TechFan 294. Unfortunately, David can't be here this week.

And I didn't have enough time to find somebody else. I'm just going to do an abbreviated solo show, i.e., it's going to be smaller because it's just me and I don't have a whole lot to talk about. But I do have a couple things. And the first, honestly, it's kind of cool. Nintendo Switch. Yep, I got one. I was kind of psyched to get it, to be honest.

The last time I bought a new video game system on launch day was the Nintendo Wii, which

was like a year or ten years ago or more.

Probably more. I think it came out like 05 didn't it, 06, something, I don't know, a long time ago.

And I was happy to get one this time around. And so I thought I would kick off this episode,

the solo episode, talking a little bit about the switch um it's a different type of video game

system it's really honestly it's kind of like three different types of systems all in one

and let me explain number one it's a home video game council system so it's it you can plug it

into your TV.

It comes with a controller that,

you know,

you're playing game sitting on your couch and looking at the TV and it's just a normal video game console.

However,

it's also kind of like a Nintendo,

uh,

DS,

3DS,

wherever we want to call it.

It's one screen, but you hold it in your hand and you play it that way, i.e. not connected to a TV because the switch itself is kind of like a tablet.

So there's your three different things. It's handheld, It's a tablet. And it plugs into your TV.
