Yeah, five more minutes of planning um but the difference is it seems to be

working pretty good so far yeah so we're going to get to that and and what's different um but first

what's going on in the tech world in your life, David?

Yeah, so regular listeners will, heard me regularly moan,

and you moan as well when we've had audio problems about the terrible internet connection I have at home.

Yeah, you've got a pretty bad one.

Yeah, it's a four megabit ADSL, which by the standards of a few years ago is actually

pretty good, but by modern standards, not really up to much.

And I've had to do the whole song and dance of when I record the show, making sure nobody

at home is doing anything on the internet to affect the voice quality.

And yeah, every six months,

so I check with Openreach,

who are the private company

who own all of the infrastructure for the internet in the UK.

They own all of the,

what used to be British telecoms,

wires and cables and copper and exchanges and all that sort of thing.

So you have to wait for them to do infrastructure work to improve your internet.

And the best you can get mostly in the UK now is what they call fibre to the cabinet.
