I am Tim Robertson and I am podcasting alone today.

I know our schedule has been kind of screwed up here on the show for the last month or so.

I did a show by myself.

David's done two shows by himself.

For 275, David and I did a show together.

And it's kind of a, you know, professional and personal reasons for that.

But I thought I would start off this show a whole lot different than the normal tech fan.

And then after our little break, we'll come back and resume our regularly scheduled goodness of technology.

So the reason that I have been missing a couple shows, and then David did them by himself.

It wasn't work-related, unfortunately.

My mom passed away.

It's one of those things that, you know, it's not easy to really... I'm trying to, I've been struggling how I wanted to talk about it here on the show.

And David went through something very, very similar just recently when he lost his dad.

And David and I are at that age now where we start losing people close to us, family members.

You know, in my case, my mom and David's case is dad.

And it's not always an easy decision whether you want to talk about it on a show like this or really any other show.

It's a really personal thing.

But David inspired me when we discussed his dad on the show.

And, you know, I didn't, I haven't really ever discussed my mom much.

I had a fine relationship with my mom.
