Hello everyone and welcome to TechFan 239.

Apologies for not doing a show last week. I actually did record one. I was running a solo show, but when I got to edit it, the audio was terrible and it wasn't really usable.

It wasn't anything I could do to fix it. So I didn't

have time to record it again. However, I'm able to record this week and this week I have a co-host.

As you know, Tim is away, but I have a long-time friend of the show Owen Rubin with us. Hello,

Owen. David, how are you? And I was supposed to be there last week and ended up deciding to have my arm cut on instead.

You had a, yeah, and you, you've just given me the story. So this was a, this was not planned surgery. This was something that kind of had a, you had an accident.

I did. So everybody's talked about how these hoverboards, which by the way, is the worst name and

come up with a new name. It's not a hoverboard. How dangerous they are. And I got injured by one.

And sadly, I wasn't actually writing it. And it didn't blow up. We had someone come into our

office who thought they could write it, jumped up on it, didn't know how to write it.

It became very dangerous very quickly.

When I asked him to get off, he tried to jump off of it and it threw him.

And in trying to be the good Samaritan and not have one of our potential clients crack his head

open on the concrete, I braced him as he was starting to fall down.

And he grabbed my arm on the way down and sortaced him as he was starting to fall down, and he grabbed my arm

on the way down and sort of gave it a straight down tug. And there was a small little popping

sound in my arm. And it didn't hurt right away. Yeah. But the doctor basically said the tendon has detached

from the bone. Wow. The bice tendon.

So that happened about a month ago and they've been working through it and said, okay, did an MRI, we have to go into surgery to reattach it if you want it detached.

Some people choose not to do it.
