i'm your host for today david cohen i'm running the show solo and uh obviously those of you paying attention to our feed

will be aware we didn't do a show last week either.

So let me bring you up to speed with what's been going on.

Last week was my son's by Mitzvah on the Saturday, so his 13th birthday,

and a big celebration for him and then a party in the evening. And so I was requested on Friday afternoon when we would normally

record to go down to the venue where we're going to have this party and help them set

up we had a call a friend of mine a former colleague who was coming into do DJ

stuff for the party and he needed a hand moving stuff in and out and also we

need to do some decoration basically it just meant that I've been notes to me until I was asked to stuff in and out and also we need to do some decoration and

basically it just meant that unbeknownst to me until I was asked to fill in and

do this I wasn't going to be available to record so I dropped a message to Tim and

let him know but unfortunately he also wasn't feeling too well so he wasn't

able to do something solo so we decided to let it slide for that week, thinking, well, okay, we'll pick up this week.

Unfortunately, as I've just said, Tim isn't here.

And the reason for that is that I got a text from him early on this week, and I have to say,

you know, sometimes when you read words and text it's

somebody you know fairly well and you know that they're pretty upset and I could tell that Tim was

pretty upset and then he sent me a video file explaining what was going on and I I mean he was so

upset I kind of replied back to him and said you know your video just very much nearly cracked my iPhone screen from the inside.

So dark was your face.

So what happened is stuff happened at work and there was some miscommunication and somebody got the wrong in the stick.
