Summary

CNBC's Pippa Stevens chats with Jake Loosararian, co-founder and CEO of Gecko Robotics. Loosararian shares his expectations and predictions around AI and the intersection of robotics and renewable energy. They discuss how energy reliability and resiliency will be a critical front line in the future of warfare - particularly given how the war in Ukraine has exposed the vulnerability of public infrastructure in global conflict. Loosararian also discusses how emergent technology can bolster power grids with AI, advanced robotics and sensors to withstand an energy blockade. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. And the struggles of doing that,

1:15.1

not just in Western countries, but also

1:18.5

across many different kinds of countries.

1:20.9

And how difficult it is, an interesting stat that I'll tell you is

1:25.4

Goldman Sachs looked at the reliance on fossil fuels 10 years ago, 83% reliance on

1:32.2

fossil fuels for energy and then 3 10 years later,

1:34.0

ago, 80% reliance on fossil fuels for energy. And then 3.8 trillion dollars later, 10 years later,
