I get very excited when we get behind the mics, especially when we're hanging out in our podcast room, the Huntington Bank podcast room with TechFive Radio.

It's exciting stuff.

But do it's more exciting, though, the Carnegie Science Awards.

I know, coming right up. What's the date of the Carnegie Science Awards? May 10th. Yes. May 10th. Someone just piped in. Yes, exactly. And whose voice might that be? I'm sorry, I thought you were talking to me. We were. No, we were. I'm Jason Brown, an interim director at Carnegie Science Center. Hi, Jason. Thanks for being with us. So, May 10th. And it's going to be located at... For the first time ever at the Science Center. I know. First time ever. It's very exciting. Bringing it home. I know, which is great. That's really great. I'm excited to see the new events based that you guys have. I haven't been over there yet. It's amazing. It's really incredible. I think it's cool. Yeah, it's 10,000 square feet. It's got 20-foot windows looking out over the point in the Duquesne Anglon.

So you've got to be. Do you feel like you're on a boat?

You feel more like you're in a tree house, actually.

There's a big patio that's four stories up, and it's just a great space.

this year so carnegie science awards for those of you that don't know is really um it there are

awards that uh recognize exceptional science and technology innovators that are making a difference in western

pennsylvania so we have a few of them we have quite a a few. It's amazing how many we have. We actually

had over 200 nominations this year. We had to narrow it down to 17. Only 17 winners. And some of the

winners I'm really excited about, because before we came on air, we were talking a little bit,

and we're saying this is such an important event because it's a night to really honor some

really hard work. Some of these women and men that are, you know, winning these awards, they don't get the limelight too often. That's true. And it's a great way of them to kind of validate what they're doing, but on top of that, it's letting the whole region know that these people are doing this awesome work. And some of those people are like our board chair, Jason Wolf. Right. I know. How about that?

Entrepreneur of the year. I know. Isn't that exciting? I think he's renting a very special

tuxedo for this. As am I. Yeah. So talk about some of the finalists or winners. Well, so Jason
