Welcome to the November 23rd and 24th edition of Tech Talk for 2024.

This is our pre-Black Friday weekend edition. I'm supposed to be up at Long Beach with

our international students, but that of the bomb cyclone got in the way and large portions up

there still don't have power. There's an awful lot of firewood available.

Awful lot. So kudos to the crews that are struggling, but yeah, McKenzie Beach Resort called and said,

you shouldn't come. We'll give you the same rates at any other time. I feel for them because this

was big storm watching season. So I am joined by the people that were going to be your co-hosts in my

absence. I am Ricky Winter, your tech experience manager for the

Telecom Center, London Drugs. And I'm Brian Pavlachit, your tech talk producer, and we welcome

you back, Alan. So thank you for being marginally demoted. We're just going to talk to each other

all day anyway and ignore you. We've decided. It actually worked out well, because there is a

crap load of stuff to tell you about that's the official technical term here so please
