Summary

Earlier this year, we talked about how 2020 pulled a lot of growth forward and YoY comps might be tough for tech companies.

We saw that in the results for Peloton, Pinterest, and Roku this week. But while some numbers might've been a bit disappointing for these businesses, the thesis for each is still very much in tact. We run through the quarterly numbers and explain why.

Dylan it's going great we got another tech earnings seasons upon us and we had an avalanche of choices for this show.

Yeah, I mean a lot of big moves this earning season.

I think one of the things that we had talked about early in the year Brian was this year

looking at the results that companies put up is going to be fascinating because we

didn't know what reopening was going to look like but we did know that a ton of

growth got pulled forward in 2020, and having any

sense of what direction these companies were going to be going in after that growth got pulled forward,

Yeah, tech investors could essentially do no wrong in 2020,
