Well, you may laugh at me, but I've always had a secret handker in to be a detective. There were Poe and Doyle, there are Connolly and Cornwall, and Tana French, but there was

only one Dame Agatha Christie, the Queen of Crime, whose novels have been outsold by only

Shakespeare and the Bible.

On this, her 126th birthday, we're so excited to introduce a new podcast devoted to the exploration of her enduring popularity,

its impact on those who came after, and the enormous multimedia reach of her novels in

film, television, and beyond.

Each week will be deep diving into one novel,

starting with the first and going in order

of their original UK publication.

That's 66 novels in an incredible 56 year span from 1920 to 1976. A Christie for Christmas

for over half the 20th century. 66 tales of poisons, betrayals, and evil under the sun.

Poiro and Marple, and Tommy and Tuppens too,

as well as some extras along the way.

This is all about Agin.
