Hello everyone, welcome to the Gaslit Nation special bonus episode where we are going to

go into the Trump indictment and break that down for you all.

I wanted to share really quickly because I had an interesting encounter last night here

in Brooklyn. I was out with a friend doing choir practice. I could you not, that's like

one of my self-care's now. I go to a choir of a bunch of other fellow amateurs and we

just glee club it up. We sing all the hits. It's, I cannot sing. I'm just there for the

joy. And then after after our choir practice, we were heading over to a nearby bar and

we're passing a building with I guess national guardsman, some US military lingering out

front, obviously organizing something. And I was watching this as we're headed towards the

bar. And a couple hours later and we came back, I stopped off at this building and I chatted

with one of the security officers who was out front as a beautiful spring night and he

was out front with some other co-workers just sort of having one of those magical warm nights

in New York City of people sitting on a stoop. And I asked him, I said why were there national

guards here? And he confirmed what I suspected. And it was because that building was being

used to how some of the vulnerable people, some of the asylum seekers that are being weaponized

by DeSantis and Abbott and Texas and being sent to New York City, which is already under immense

strain in its slow recovery from being ground zero of a once in a century pandemic. And I asked

this security guard and said, well, do these asylum seekers, do they need anything? What

could we bring them if I came back tomorrow? And he said no, they're in this location, everyone's

fine. Everyone, he really was like, no, they're well, he listed all the things that they had,

which was wonderful to hear. I don't know all locations or like that, but he was very reassuring

with what a good operation there was in taking care of people. And I was really glad to hear
