That brings us, I think, to a next known, unknown, a next thing that we know that we do not know that I wanted to talk about, which is the question of where it came from. And I don't even just mean like South Africa, which is

not geographically, like, yeah.

It's like very clear that it's been around or something.

It probably didn't even originate in South Africa.

Actually, so there's, well, I'll get into that in a second, but I want to point out really

quickly that a really interesting line that you've seen a lot in a lot of discussion of this,

including some of the very first discussions of the Amicron variant, is the idea that because

the variant seems to have so many different mutations, and in fact, when you look at like

the sort of genome, it's like ancestry tree, if you will, again, to stick with the eugenics reference.

If you look at its ancestry tree.

There is like basically it's pretty clearly descended basically from, like there's been,

it clearly went off the map for a while.

Like the most recent ancestor to it is like, again, as B mentioned, these things mutate all

the time. Like, we learn about these variants as variants of concern that get special names,

but if you look at like the genetic like flow chart, basically, of variants, there's a ton

that's like a huge massive branch, basically. And this one in particular, basically, there's like a year- branch basically and this one in particular basically there's like a
