major media empires that have produced

some worthy, needed cultural moments in the hands of a proud libertarian who thinks Fox News is

journalism is a death knell, is one of the many nails in America's coffin right now.

And speaking recently with a filmmaker who has done a lot of hard-hitting political

documentaries, he said to me, discovery is such shit, they're impossible to work with,

and they don't want any political documentaries.

They don't want anything hard-hitting.

They want these low common denominator

trashy, opium type TV that just numbs people. They don't want people to think. It's part of this

whole dumbing down of America campaign. And as you point out, rightfully, this normalization of essentially what's

glorified human trafficking and the objective and the objectification of women and young girls.

That's what they're heading towards Epstein Maxwell TV culture. So for people who are creators,

filmmakers who have something to say and want to lift the veil,

we have to go abroad while we can while those markets remain open to us.
