This is a, this is a post called Santa Security by Texas Santa,

whose interests are Christ family, military families, and special needs children.

I was reading through the forums and happened across a couple of posts regarding security

of Santa.

It reminded me of a time when I went to an event that was deep in the hood.

There were many warnings for this event to not happen, mainly from the gang leaders.

Sure enough, the day of the event rolls around.

It is time for us to show up.

We received a police escort into the neighborhood.

While my team was setting up,

even more police arrived. At the event start time, we all entered the site and prepared for the

worst. No problems, no concerns. Just hundreds of children that were relieved that Santa had kept

his word. We hurriedly packed and moved off to a secure location to properly put everything away

when even more police showed up. Word came to me later that the gangs had all declared their hatred for each other and were ready to have a bit of a tussle but they could not be sure santa and his elves would not be hurt they feared the judgment of their children if something happened sadly we have never been able to go back to that neighborhood i believe it would be wrong for santa to carry a firearm yes i have constantly busy traveling to homes and sites that are an hour away from any type of law enforcement support,

but I still rely on my common sense and my capabilities to not be seen on TV news as a stereotyped bad Santa.

I believe that if you are in an area that is a soft target and you fear for your safety, you should not be there.

The primary insurance provider for the Mueller or site would probably also have issues

with an armed Santa as well as most of the parents.

In my opinion, on-site weapons are a liability that runs a foul of Santa.
