I'm not I am I am so by now you've probably read the headlines just a couple here.

Pope Scolds couples who choose pets over kids and that was the New York Times.

CNN said, opting for pets over children is

selfish and takes away our humanity, says Pope Francis.

It's everywhere, but we just wanted to jump on here and give a little

context and some thoughts because I feel like we're missing something in the general

just like headlines that are going across your feeds right now.

Yeah so the context of this Pope Francis every Wednesday he does a general audience

and in which he does some catacasis and so he's currently in a series of catacasis on St Joseph.

So this Wednesday audience was mostly about the role of St Joseph as an adoptive father and it was a celebration of adoption as a really as one among the highest forms of love and then in an offhand comment he talks about how some people choose to have pets instead of kids.

Yeah, so what he did not say, he did not say it's selfish to not have kids, right?

First of all, this is coming from a guy who

is chosen to not have children,

and is in charge of a bunch of people who do not have children.

And I think a lot of people were hurt

because this is obviously a

fraud issue issues of child bearing and he's also not saying that people need to
